It is very uncommon to come across both "Mother" and "Father" teacup and saucer sets in such wonderful condition. This is a vintage set of Blue Willow "Mother & Father" China Cup & Saucer Sets, dating back to the 1970s. The set includes 4 pieces of Blue Willow china: one teacup with "Mother" and doves inside the cup with a matching saucer, and one teacup with "Father" and doves inside the cup with a matching saucer. All pieces are unmarked and each cup measures 2.5" tall and 3.75" across the top, while the saucers are 5.75" in diameter. The cups can hold about 8 ounces and are free of chips, cracks, and stains. There is some age-appropriate light crazing, which does not detract from their appearance or use. These sets are the perfect gift for the Blue Willow fan and for occasions such as Mother's Day and Father's Day. They are not just meant for tea, but can also be used for coffee and ice cream.
