Hand-crafted in Italy in the 18th century, styled in luxurious period Louis XV (1715-1774) taste, featuring a triangular marbleized wood top with serpentine shaped molded edge, white paint decorated frame, pierced rocaille scalloped apron, rising on scroll stretcher-joined cabriole legs, ending on shaped feet. One having a hexafoil symbol to the inside of the frame, used in the middle ages and Renaissance as a symbol of religious protection.
