Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear even if it has been refinished or restored. Specifically, this was reupholstered at some point & we have put new foam poly wrap in the existing seat cushion, all cushions have been shampooed but may retain a couple stains, but we have a leftover bolt of fabric that we will include upon purchase. The walnut frame is in great condition with no outstanding flaws we have detected. Please see photos, zoom in for details, and see long description as they are part of the condition report. This is a gorgeous vintage mid-century modern daybed sofa comprised of a walnut square frame & poly wrapped foam seat and back cushions wearing a reupholstered zippered neutral gray with a blue/green tint fabric. It has straight, classic lines and a STRAM tag on the metal spring base. We searched high and low for a maker, line, or artist to credit on this piece but sadly, to no avail… You know, not everything worthy of a notable name actually has one… Imagine this… you are at an upscale, quite distinguished party. Bored, surrounded with all of the same sights, food, and figures when all of a sudden, you are captivated to leave that rather mundane carbon-copy conversation and explore your exotic surroundings. You feel drawn toward a glow at the end of the hall… you turn the corner and walk into the private study and… there SHE is! Standing innocently beside the fireplace staring deeply into the brilliance of the flames that are beaming beautifully off her frame. She is stunning… refreshing… almost breath-taking in her anonymous beauty. Strangely, she looks familiar… but you just can’t quite put your finger on her name or where you’ve seen her before… but you don’t care… and you can’t stop staring. It DEFINITELY bears a quintessential Mid-Century Modern style with a splash of Scandinavian Modern flair and will make a beautiful statement in any room you choose! It would be wonderful in a sitting room, corner of a bedroom, or in your private study flanking the fireplace!! Wherever you choose to use it, you won’t be able to take your eyes off of it!!
