This Really is a Great Looking & Very Unusual Antique Cast Iron Doorstop. LARGE SIZE. It was Made in England and it comes from the Tail End of the Victorian Era - Circa Late 19th Century. It is Rendered in The Centuries Old English Folklore Character - "PUNCH" with his Dog "Toby". It is Very Heavy Solid Cast with a Substantial Weight of 8 3/4 Pounds. It Still Retains its Original Hand - Oil Paint Brush Multiple Color Decorated Features. It has Wonderful Color Combinations and the Paint has Great Original - Authentic Aged Patina. It is in Excellent All Original Condition - Displays Beautifully. NOTE Also that it is Signed Francis B. Bishop on the Base this Most Likely Being the Artist - Painter.
LARGE SIZE! - It Measures Overall Approx. 12 3/8 inches Tall x 9 inches Long x 3 3/4 inches Wide - Deep at Base.
