Exquisite rare combination of Sandoz Freres Swiss movement within a French Duverdrey & Bloquel clock, a collaboration of two important horologists of the period.
Movement is working, although no key present.
Beautiful mahogany, possibly rosewood cased, enamel face, brass top finial and feet, in excellent condition for the age.
Markings of serial number 37/243, lion makers mark present, and faintly inside rear cover is etched the date of January 30 1912 with initials.
Superb example for a serious collector.
