Sadly, it seems the internal tuner control cord has either cracked or is no longer spooled correctly as the tuning functionality does not work and we are selling this radio for parts or repair. Perhaps the buyer will be able to restore this radio to working form. This radio in in good vintage cosmetic condition, considering it is over 50 years old! All the metal, plastic and and vinyl surfaces show some marks, scraches, discoloration and scuffs all typical of age and use. There is considerable dust and debris from storage. The metal and chrome surfaces show some rusty water speck spots and oxidation, all typical of age, use and storage method. The extra long antenna is in excellent shape and it telescopes smoothy. As we place some of our items with film and television period productions (who value authentic patina, distress and age) we have left this radio in the original, as-found condition. This piece could use a thorough cleaning if it is to be used and displayed in the home. less
