It is … Read more This is a beautiful Doulton Burslem antique pitcher that dates to 1886-1891 and is signed by the artist. It is in very good condition with no chips or cracks or damage. There is a little wear on the gold paint on the handle and the spout but that’s all I can see. There is light crazing, it is around 130 years old but I can see it in a modern interior, whether it be shabby chic or a luxury villa. The nature inspired art makes it relevant. It has a beautiful hand painted design of pink roses and green leaves. The workmanship on this vase is incredibly intricate and exquisite. Both the back and front are different and there are flowers painted in the background to make it more three dimensional. It has a very pretty border on the top and the bottom of the pitcher that is very different from the main body, in the color and the scale, its a light aqua with pink and cream and tan flowers, it finishes it perfectly. This beauty measures 7 1/8”H x 9 1/2”W x 3 1/2”Deep. See less
