This is part of Chairish’s Fine Jewelry assortment.
What makes this Victorian 14k gold bracelet so beautiful are the magnificent, well-matched amber hued citrine gemstones that have stunning presence on the wrist. The stones graduate in size with the largest stone as the centerpiece, measuring 22 x 16 x 10.5 mm. The presentation is rich, warm facets of citrines that dominate the overall look of the bracelet. The stones are bezel set into gold that is crimped around the edges, framed by Etruscan Revival wirework. The gemstones are held together by a 14k gold double chain bracelet with gold hues that compliment the golden amber of the stones.
The bracelet is unmarked and tests as 14k gold. The spring ring clasp and safety chain (most likely replacements to the original to give the bracelet added security) test as 9k gold. The largest citrine measures 22 x 16 x 10.5 mm and the smallest measures 13.5 x 10.5 x 7.25 mm. The citrine has a total carat weight of 68 carats.
The bracelet weighs 29.7 grams and fits a 6.5” wrist.
Circa the 1890’s. A romantic, inviting, and warm piece with very pretty hues.
