This Andy Warhol Foundation very rare vintage 1995 lithograph print custom framed extra large Pop Art poster " Botticelli, Birth of Venus " 1984, is an incredibly special and unique piece to add to your collection.
The Pop Art poster print is published by Te Neues Publishing Company, New York and Achenbach Art Edition, Dusseldorf. Printed in Germany in 1995 with the licensed authorized rights of The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts Inc. New York. It features an artwork image originally created by Warhol in 1984 titled " Details of Renaissance Paintings ( Sandro Botticelli, Birth of Venus, 1482 ) ", copyright 1995 The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts Inc., all rights reserved.
This is a rare opportunity for true Warhol fans and collectors and this coveted image extra large Pop Art poster print is long out of print and very scarce to find. The official " AW " Foundation seal of authenticity is printed on the poster in the lower right corner.
Andy Warhol ( 1928 - 1987 ) is one of the singularly most well known Contemporary artists of all time. His imagery is recognized worldwide. His infamous life, art works, and creative endeavors are like no other artist. He is credited as the very first artist to use common everyday objects and view them in a completely different way while paying homage to their role in our society. Glorifying the common as the beautiful. His technique utilizing a silkscreen method combine with hand finishing in a signature palette make the work stand on its own and loved by millions.
The rare out of print framed extra large format Pop Art poster measures 40 1/4" W X 28 3/8" H X 1 1/2" D. It is custom framed with UV protective plexiglass in a Contemporary Modern satin finish whitewashed white oak wood museum box style frame molding, with an attached hanging wire on the reverse back side for easy wall installation.
