Antique early 20th century Chinese lacquered wooden footed box featuring calligraphy and scenic decorations (maybe taken from a book), the box is mounted with brass hardware. The calligraphy is also inside of the box, it was meticulously put together and lacquered as well, the brass lock is engraved with a floral design, it is very tarnished due to age, but it adds to the authenticity.
It can be used for decorative purposes or as a keepsake as well.
