Measurements: 11" tall x 4" wide
It is a tall and vibrant antique pair both with a body with a wide mouth, as is usual in this typology, made of polychrome ceramic, decorated on the outside with a vegetal composition in blue enamel paint, placed on a white border. This decoration reflects the technical skill and sensitivity of the craftsmen, the European and Eastern influences and the successive technical innovations that gave the work of Catalan potters a unique character. As for the technique used, despite its monochrome nature, the use of cobalt blue applied in different gradations produces a large number of shades which, in turn, contrast with the white tonality used as the base of the piece." less
