Nice black line … more A finely decorated baluster shaped covered jar with two dragons circling the vessel amid stylized green clouds. Nice black line detail enhances the bodies and faces, articulating scales and fins. The borders are set off by puce bands filled with decorative objects. No marks to the porcelain, old semi legible label still attached to the underside. The jar rests on a nice quality carved and gilt wood base. Very good condition with light wear to the glazes, normal artisanal irregularities, a short hairline just inside the neck, does not show on the outside. Ca. first half of the 20th century, with later stand.
