C.1970's Original Georg Hansen, for Hansen Lighting NY, Polished brass, double swing arm wall lighted sconces manufactured by Metal Arte of Spain Foundry. These were designed by Georg Hansen and custom fabricated in Spain, polished brass plated finish over solid steel, quality notwithstanding. Maker's markings Foundry marks on the backside of square back plate, as well as Designer's Markings top interior edge of surround and to back plate on each sconce, as close up images indicate. From a South, Florida Estate. The beauty of such lighting is they are off nightstands, unencumbered utilitarian use, movement to and fro, left or right front and back, to designate any specific fighting for the user. Minor patina to brass, can easily be polished if one would remove lacquer seal and re-apply via professional polisher, but it is very ell maintained for era and use. There is one minor scratch below square section on one of the backplates, but it is to the lacquer and it, the lacquer may be removed and re-applied and POOF?!#! the scratch will be gone, one of the abilities of having lacquer seal on polished brass/nivkel or chrome, is for protective measures.
Original wiring and in working condition, the "only," element is the electrician has to attach to junction box, as original wiring is a plug wire, as one can see in one of the images. WE CHOSE not to CUT the cord off, and leave for any electrician to designate such professional certified work for any client.. Wired and in working condition. We chose to leave original wiring which includes a plug, but if need be, one can use as is, or have electrician the cut wire, and hardwire to wall, i.e. modern transitional capabilities for today's standard. Brass ball for recessed screws can be used, but we provided th brass all covers to back plate front, one can see in one of the images of a pic of the Single Sconce to showcase the look.
