These were designed by Georg Hansen and custom fabricated in Spain, polished brass plated finish over solid steel, quality notwithstanding. Maker's markings Foundry marks on the backside of square back plate, as well as Designer's Markings top interior edge of surround and to back plate on each sconce, as close up images indicate. The beauty of such lighting is they are off nightstands, unencumbered utilitarian use, movement to and fro, left or right front and back, to designate any specific fighting for the user.
