Offered is a vintage 1980s glass wine decanter / carafe that has a Teak wood sculpted bottle stopper created for Dansk Designs in the early 1970s by Gunnar Cyrén (1931–2013), a Swedish glass artist, silversmith and industrial designer that had worked at Orrefors prior to his collaboration with Dansk at its NY headquarters between 1970 and 1976 where he created silverplated, glass, plastic and ceramic collections of tabletop and decorative wares.
It measures 5.25" in diameter at the bottom, has a mouth that is 3" in diameter, and stands 10.75" in height, and 12.5" with the stopper in place. The chunky sculpted Teak wood stopper (marked "Made in Malaysia") measures approximately 2.5" in width and 2.875" in height. less
