This original landscape oil painting captures a field of trees and the beauty of nature and time. A warm comforting light enters the green landscape highlighting rows of newly planted evergreens while in the distance a horizon of mature plantings stand tall and strong. Beautiful indigo blue shadows flow along ground with magical delight.
Vibrant brushwork makes note of the tender landscapes weave of textures and the palette of endless greens unfold with surprise. The inviting scene has an element of mystery - it's as if we are gazing into something private and sacred.
The painting is a plein-air oil painting that I did from my backyard. It was inspired by my experience of time in this location and the evolution of pine trees over the course of my 25 years here.
I painted the painting on heavy weight watercolor paper in oils. It is a signed original that is mounted on mat board and is ready for framing. less
