This David Hockney rare vintage 1980 Dumont Art calendar collector's lithograph print poster " Celia, Cavennac " 1971, is an incredibly special and unique piece to add to your collection. The lithograph print is a page from a large format art calendar published by Dumont Art, printed in an unnumbered limited edition in West Germany in 1980, in association with Universe Books New York City. It features an original Expressionist portrait artwork by the great British Pop Art master David Hockney titled " Celia, Cavennac " created in 1971.
David Hockney ( B.1937 ) is an English painter, draftsman, printmaker, stage designer, and photographer. He is an important contributor to the Pop Art movement of the 1960's, he is considered to be one of the most influential British artists of the 20th Century. His Pop Art Expressionist artworks have been the subject of more than 400 solo exhibitions. Art works by Hockney are included in the collections of many of the worlds most prestigious museums.
The rare large format collector's lithograph calendar print poster measures 19 1/4" W X 23" H. It is in excellent " like new " vintage condition consistent with age and light signs of handling.
