The dress is distinguished by a noticeable texture of damask fabric with matte patterns on a shiny surface. Signed and dated 1613 upper left. Lorenz Strauch was a German Old master painter of architectural pictures and portraits. He painted on glass and was an engraver Glasmaler. He was exceptionally precise in the draughtsmanship of his portraits and of costume in general.
