Chinese porcelain Mahamangala Sutra bitong, a large, finely formed brush pot with gently sloping sides and a white glazed exterior, interior and circular inset within the unglazed base. The Mahamangala Sutra, written in fine, calligraphic, blue, kaishu script, is glazed to the body of the brush pot. A blue, four character, Wen Zhang Shan Dou, dedication mark of the Kangxi era is glazed to the circular inset of the base. The finely carved, traditional, Chinese hongmu stand is included. Circa Republic of China era.
