Created of porcelain, this piece is created with a raised enamel design of a dragon in pearly whites, blues, and blacks. The round plate depicts a dragon at the center, with a bright green hue around the edges. The entire design is raised, also known as moriage. The edges are gilt in gold along a stylized cream moriage pattern. The bottom is crisp white with no markings.
