- A rare pair of impressive mid century modern designer Lucite lamps. All hand made much like two sculptures displayed on … more A rare pair of impressive mid century modern designer Lucite lamps. All hand made much like two sculptures displayed on pedestals displayed in a museum of modern art , formed in a cityscape fashion with beveled integrated bases. Circa 1970 in all original condition with high quality hardware. Note the quality is similar to Lucite creations in the mid century modern Era by designers such as Vladmir Kagan and Laverne . The lamps measure 22 and a half inches to where the bulb screws in on top of the socket. Depending on your preference of shade size it can accommodate a shade reaching approximately 32 inches tall to the top of shade. The lucite sculptures itself measure 16 inches high . less
