The seller says: "Rare opportunity to own an absolutely stunning piece of Southern California mid-century modern design. Attributed to either Inco. Iron or Modern Color Inc. - this is an early 1950's Southern California made piece.
The iron frame sits upon hairpin iron legs with a fully springed seat. The high quality box spring cushions (yes every single cushion has box springs - even the small arm cushions!) have all been reupholstered (with new cotton innards as well) with a fantastic light grey fabric, there is also a new burlap cover for the frame springs (see photo). The iron frame is in original condition and has been cleaned up but still shows slight rust and age appropriate wear - see close ups - amazing patina on the frame (the arms were redone and have new matte black paint which matches the existing frame color)."
