Offered is a selection of vintage, circa 1960s, S-Series dinnerware that includes 6 dinner plates, 6 salad / dessert plates, … more Offered is a selection of vintage, circa 1960s, S-Series dinnerware that includes 6 dinner plates, 6 salad / dessert plates, and 6 rimmed soup / cereal bowls from Arabia of Finland, designed by Ulla Procope in the pattern called "Rosmarin" in brown (similar to the "Anemone" done in dark blue), that was produced between 1961 through 1972.

Each of the stoneware ceramic pieces were hand painted by artisans, and the wet glaze was burnished, which is why no wares are exactly alike.

Ulla Procopé (1921 - 1968) was one of Finland's leading ceramic designers of the 20th century who left an indelible impact on Scandinavian design. She joined Arabia, the Finnish producer of fine ceramic tableware in 1948 and designed several innovative and popular lines of ceramic products.

The 6 deep-dish dinner plates each measure: 10" in diameter, 1.125" in height.

The 6 salad / dessert plates each measure: 8" in diameter, 0.875" in height.
