This mid-century mirror from France has a … more A French painted and carved wood trumeau-style mirror from the mid 20th century. This mid-century mirror from France has a vertical-rectangular shape, and features a nicely molded upper cornice, elegant trimmings in gilt with a undulating pattern with leafy accents that embellish the top panel. Egg-n-dart and lamb's tongue molding outline the edges of the inner and outer surround. It is a nicely sized mirror, approximately 7 feet in height, and over 4.5 feet in width. Note that there are some vintage elements that seem older than the mirror itself. This mid 20th century French over-mantle mirror would be a wonderful way to emphasize height in a room with tall ceilings. less
