The top shows age proper patinas, dents, knots, naturally aged lines, spots, and wear and tears. The restoration to this antique table from countryside of Shanxi Province is kept to minimum intentionally. Four elegantly shaped legs, ending in horse hoof feet and humpback stretchers. All joints are still firm and tight. A fine example of traditional Chinese joinery: Every piece of wood is calculated to interlock in a seamless way to provide structural strength and enhances the beauty of the design. This table with its original brown color, beautiful aged top will make an astonishing wine table, accent table or console table in a hallway, entryway, living room, or dining room. An elegant classical Chinese wine console table.
