This beautiful and unique Nativity set is a must-have for any collector or lover of handmade crafts. The set includes 20 pieces, all expertly carved from Holy Land Olive Wood by skilled artisans in the Palestinian Territories. This is an incredible set. The large figurines range from 11 to 14 1/2 inches in height and average 7 to 8 inches wide. The camel is 14 inches wide and the horses are 7 inches wide.
This set is used and I have tried to show the missing pieces in the photos below. The Camel, the donkey and the cow all have little bits missing on their ears. The Camel has a repaired crack on his back. There appear to be two staffs missing. Four of the tall figures have hands that have been broken and glued back on. One part of one hand is missing on one of the wise men and I believe the bases are mahogany and there’s wear on two of them as shown in the photos. Please inspect all the pictures carefully and let me know if you have any questions. The extra pieces are fencing that has some discoloration, a shape that needs to be re-glued, which is the 20th piece also part of what was the manger. This is an extraordinary set. I hope it finds its way to a good home with someone that can attach these hands properly:) less
