The state of preservation is good, only a yellowed paper along the edges. William Henry Bartlett (1809 -1854). He was a British artist known for his drawings, engravings. He was apprenticed to the architect and antiquarian, and he studied drawings .He became one of the foremost illustrators of topography of his generation. He first came to the United States in 1835 to draw the buildings, towns and landscape. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
