"Woman’s Friend" silver plated trinket, pin, hairpin box Vintage from the 19th century

Materials: Plated on Hard White Metal

A lovely example dating to the late Victorian period silver plate metal with ornate floral decorated sides and great ball feet. The lid has etched into the metal “Woman’s Friend” and the etching of a hairpin inside a simple etched decorative frame around the writing.


Very nice condition considering its age. This silver-plated box is a stunning piece from the 19th century, boasting intricate Art Nouveau styling. The footed trinket box features a beautiful bas relief floral pattern, and is the perfect addition to any antique silver or silverplate collection.
