Chipping of wood on the carved leaves in the frame corners. Old repair to the central pole beneath the base - shims wedged and glued in. Some cracking to the underside of the base. Finial has a screw bottom wrapped in thread to wedge into the post, rather than screwing in place. A sturdy piece that's beginning to show its age; treat it gently and it will last many more years. less

The embroidery section measures approximately 13 1/4 inches square, with the frame measuring 15 1/4 inches wide and 15 3/8 inches tall; with the ornate frame corners, the panel measures 16 3/8 inches wide and tall. The panel can be adjusted so that the bottom of the panel rests from approximately 20 inches off the ground up to 36 1/4 inches; item to top of finial is approximately 55 1/2 inches tall.
