Hand crafted antique carpenter’s tool chest constructed of tight grain Douglas Fir having single loose tool interior box, heavy-duty iron … more Hand crafted antique carpenter’s tool chest constructed of tight grain Douglas Fir having single loose tool interior box, heavy-duty iron drop handles, steel chain lid catch, and faux raised top, with signature two saw custom maple mounts underside of top lid, and what seems to be a more recently done hand painted artist interpretation of the Colorado flag (can faintly make out the old etching burned into the wood underneath) which apparently had been executed by the Carpenter whom originally had crafted the chest. This is solid and heavy antique piece that weighs well over 100lbs unloaded. Acquired summer of 2023 in Denver County, circa late 19th to early 20th century, origin Denver, Colorado. less
