French Impressionist oil painting on board, dated 1893, by listed artist Ernest Honnerat. Honerat's 1890 still life painting "Natura morta con Pesci" sold for $10,409 at auction. This painting done three years later, also a still life, is a composition depicting fruit: pomegranates, grapes and an orange, with a wine glass on a table, possibly indicating celebration of life. Signed and dated on the bottom right. Beautifully painted with wonderful fluid brushwork and lighting! Bought in France. Price includes shipping.
