C.1930'S Moroccan-Style, Original Reed & Barton Silverplate, Hammered Large, Oval-Shaped, Grand Serving, Center Tray, With Engraved Or Incised, Floral Including … Read more C.1930'S Moroccan-Style, Original Reed & Barton Silverplate, Hammered Large, Oval-Shaped, Grand Serving, Center Tray, With Engraved Or Incised, Floral Including An Moroccan Or Arabesque Inspired Design Esthetic, Also Engraved To Perimeter Surround. The Tray Is Heavy Handed, And Volumes In Size, Including The Handles, In Which Transferring Cocktails, Appetizers, Tea/Coffee Service Applies, Almost Anything Given The Occasion. The Period When This Was Manufactured; There Was A Heightened Interest, And Inspiration, Via Travel In The Far East And Eastern Africa Predominantly, Spain, Portugal, Morocco, Egypt, Etc. Whereupon Elements Of Certain Cultures, Were Incorporated In Pieces, Such As This Lovely, And No Longer In Production Pattern/Style, Including The Process Of Hammering Silver, Which Gained A Huge Following, And Gave Pieces Of Distinction An Added Textural Palette. The Maker'S Mark Is On The Reverse With The Pictorial Insignia Of Reed & Barton, Reed & Barton, Including A Pattern Number Associated With This Particular Collection And The Numbered Series, As Last Image Indicates. There Are Some Minor Scratches To The Reverse, Indicative To Normal Wear, Due To Period, Era And Use, With Very Minor Scratches To Top, Otherwise A Wonderful Distinctive And Collectible Piece For One Who Has This Particular Patterned Piece By Reed & Barton.
