- Offered is a limited edition L. Hitchcock side chair commemorating Andrew Jackson in their green finish. The chair has a … more Offered is a limited edition L. Hitchcock side chair commemorating Andrew Jackson in their green finish. The chair has a cane seat and elegant turtle back splat with an hand stenciled painting of the “The Hermitage”. The chair has turned legs and stretchers, all beautifully hand stenciled. Additional stenciling to the crest and the seat front and gold accents to the turned parts complete the look and show the high quality craftsmanship that Hitchcock put into all their furniture. This chair is from a limited edition of chairs that the Hitchcock Chair Company produced in 1976 to commemorate past American Presidents and their homes. The chair shows the normal age wear expected of vintage pieces such as scratches and finish wear from normal daily use. It is overall in excellent condition.
