Coveted pair of Paul Mccobb Planner Group armchairs made between 1955 and 1956 (Winchendon, MA, USA).
Sculptural seat/back frame contoured … more Coveted pair of Paul Mccobb Planner Group armchairs made between 1955 and 1956 (Winchendon, MA, USA).
Sculptural seat/back frame contoured to accentuate the slim, carved armrests.
Sharp, handsome set with crisp lines, presenting well from all angles.
Chairs were recovered in beige/bisque vinyl upholstery roughly five years ago. Upholstery is usable, as is, showing light wear as pictured (light seat scuffing/creasing along with a spot of edge wear to the border). Maple has been restored and the deep mahogany/espresso finish has been matched to the original factory-stain. There is some unevenness to the finish, as was the case with these originally.
