The original sides are double hand tied cane and the seat is hand tied as well. This Antique French Louis XVI Gilded hand caned vanity bench is great for a vanity or a room accent piece. The armrests panels have been hand tied inside and outside and a single hand tied panel of cane for the seat. A custom upholstered cushion has been made and features upholstery over solid piece of wood with tassels. The upholstered seat can be used or removed when not needed. less
