George III hexagonal shaped rolled paper tea caddy, c.1800
A rare example in excellent condition. Having an overall curled paper geometric pattern with painted and gilded accents. The lid is topped by a brass handle. On the front is a miniature painting, behind glass, of a young child. The interior silver lining is a later replacement. Has original working key.
