The open-shelving on the bottom, offers a light, free-flowing, open look that allows it to blend more easily with its surroundings—as opposed to a solid, massive piece that commands attention. Even with the veined, red-hued, marble top with splashes of cream and grey, the server is relatively light in weight—and it breaks down into two pieces—making it even easier to move!
There are two drawers that glide smoothly to possibly conceal silverware or napkins (17”Wx13.5”D) and urn-style columns that support the upper portion of the server. Aside from the two bottom shelves, the main marble-covered shelf, there is also a small, narrow display shelf on the top part of the unit, that could be used to display one’s own personal treasures. less
