Beautiful vintage Murano hand blown bright red, dark cobalt blue and lavender Italian art glass bird paperweight / figurine. The piece is documented to the Gambaro & Poggi company, with an original "Vetreria Artistica - Gambaro & Poggi Murano - Made In Italy" in clear and gold lettering still attached. The bird has a very minimal abstract shape, with bright red head, and lavender purple eyes and beak. The shape might have been taken from duck decoy sculptures, and with the bright colors it looks like a carved toy. Would make a great display piece on any desk, vanity or curio cabinet. It measures 2" tall x 4 1/2" long x 1 5/8" wide.
