It is painted in oil … Read more 'Rear Window' was painted in my Maui Meadows studio overlooking the shore south of Kihei. It is painted in oil on a 30"x40" linen canvas mounted on a hardboard panel. A woman is silhouetted by afternoon light at her window. The light indicates a reflective ambiance, perhaps allowing for a moment of introspection in the woman's day. On the windowsill, yellow daffodils add a lively splash of color. The window frames a serene blue sky offering the perfect contrast for the warm colors inside the room.
