Just in time for the heat of summer (in South America, but soon enough to be in your home town), this “totally cool” fan. Perhaps the top is bakelite, perhaps the fins are Lucite. The top’s been polished up a bit and looks great, despite the dozen or so very superficial scratches.
Three speeds, works perfectly, runs quietly (at least, on a carpeted surface; wood might be a different matter). The top speed suggests the possibility of lift-off, but the fan’s a bit too heavy for a trip to Mars.
For a Machine Age fancier this fan is a must! If you haven’t already seen it in a museum collection, get ready!
Measurements: about 14 inches high, 15 across.
