I’ve had “a thing” for ice buckets, from turn of the century to mid-century and anything in between, as long as they are anything but ordinary or fun-to-look-at! Always appropriate--sleek, modern transparent ribbed acrylic bucket with inset lid that appears to glow, accented with a crisp white insert and banded adjustable handle, what more could you ask for to adorn your bar space? It measures 12” with the handle up; 8” with handle down; 8¼” x 7¾” W/D; insert interior 7” x 6½” x 6½” H/W/D; weight 2 lbs. 2 oz. Ice bucket and inset lid, with a very cool ribbed design, are crafted from crystal clear acrylic polymer (acrylic is noted for its unparalleled transparency and being BPA-free). Insert with pedestal base and banded handle are made from a heavyweight plastic; insert fits snugly into the ice bucket and is removable, if you desire. Made in the USA sometime in the 1970s; makers label on the underside. In excellent condition with minimal age-appropriate wear. Awaiting its new home, yours perhaps?
