Evocative of a landscape, this vintage handmade art tile is an interesting piece of modern art. The one-of-a-kind art tile would make an amazing decor focus piece as a wall hanging in a contemporary home.
As the vintage art tile was handmade, it has an interesting organic shape unlike a flat mass production made tile. The art tile is about 10 3/4" square but it is not flat having a gentle uplift to the right side of the piece.
The tile glazing design suggests trees in a landscape by a lake. The colors range from copper, burnt orange, black, brown, and a vibrant turquoise.
In good vintage conditions, the ceramic tile shows wear consistent with its age and use.
