This Chinese blue and white porcelain teacup and saucer set was hand decorated in Hong Kong by the Wong Lee …

This Chinese blue and white porcelain teacup and saucer set was hand decorated in Hong Kong by the Wong Lee Porcelain Co. and it was made by the Tienshan Fine China Co. in their Rice Flower Dragon Variant pattern that they made from the 1970's-90's. The Rice Flower pattern is a transferware blue and white pattern with a unique design with holes peirced in the ceramic which are then glazed over to create little windows of light that shine through the piece. This teacup and saucer was made in the Dragon variant were the flowers in the center of the Rice Flower pattern were changed out for fire breathing dragons done in a dark cobalt blue ink tranferware. This teacup and saucer was then hand painted with red ink rising sun design over the top of the glaze that was done by the Wong Lee Porcelain Co from Hong Kong. This Chinese blue and white porcelian teacup measures 4 3/8" wide with the handle by 2" tall and the saucer is 5 1/2" wide by 7/8" tall and this set is in "Pristine Condition" with no chips, no cracks, no repairs, no crazing to the glaze, and very little wear to the set for the age of it.
