Done in deep earthy tones of a mottled and speckled brown semi-matte glaze, "ruska" is the Finnish term for the autumnal colors when the foliage changes before blanketing the ground, and these serving pieces have a smoothe surface and are all slightly different in appearance resembling handcrafted studio pottery even though they were industrially manufactured.

Ulla Procopé (1921 - 1968) was one of Finland's leading ceramic designers of the 20th century who left an indelible impact on Scandinavian design. She joined Arabia, the Finnish producer of fine ceramic tableware in 1948 and designed several innovative and popular lines of ceramic products.

The coffee pot measures 4.25" in diameter, 8.5" in width across from its spout to tip of handle, and 7" in height. With its 1.5" H lid on, it measures 7.75" in height.
