I acquired it in the mid 8i0s. Recently I had the entire piece restored by a wonderful wood worker friend. The designer James Mont got most of his designs for his furniture from the Chinese. So my friend acquired it from the source. When you see the craftsmanship and how all the joints and curves are put in place you will be amazed at the smooth edges and elegant curves. The carved back designs were carved to insure good health, wealth and prosperity. It too has the original white cotton fabric seat cushion. less
