- The jars are very old so they have a few minor flaws which have been repaired. One of the top … moreThe jars are very old so they have a few minor flaws which have been repaired. One of the top pagoda ceramic lid had an extremely faint hairline crack. It was filled and repaired prior to affixing it to the bottom. It can barely be seen, You can view it in the photograph where it has been circled in red. They were a few chips and nicks on the flowers which were filled and painted with the exact color. As mentioned the hole on the base back was from the original cord. They were a few nicks on the base bottom as well. Please don't let these minor flaws deter you because these ginger jars are truly amazing. less

The jars were originally extremely tall table lamps. They had an … more A wonderful pair of Regency ceramic pagoda ginger jars.
The jars were originally extremely tall table lamps. They had an awkward long metal neck which was very odd and did not compliment the jars. They had such gorgeous colors and design I decided to take them apart and make them into decorative ginger jars instead.
The top has been fixed into place so it is not removable and I topped it with a large glass ball finial.
The design has a raised plaster finish in bright marigold yellow with bright green and cream background.
You can see the original hole on the back bottom base which originally had the cord going through it. This can be placed in the back. They're so nice and big and have wonderful vintage charm. The best thing about them is no one will have this exact pair, they are one of a kind. less
