Here is a lovely hand-painted Portuguese ginger jar, signed and numbered - #160 Estrela de Conimriga Portugal. The delicately rendered woodland figures depict classical and historical motifs found on Portuguese objects of art. This piece is hand decorated in the manner of 17th century drawings inspired by hunting scenes.
