A beautiful antique neoclassical English Wedgwood Jasperware blue and white cup, circa late 19th century, England. This beautiful cup matte unglazed stoneware with a white raised relief. Center area on the sides has three detailed figures: A women playing with a child/cherub, on another side, a man with a horse, and another relief showing a man and two women with musical instrument. Piece is a matte stoneware in a royal blue with a white Neoclassical raised relief at center of the sides and leaf design around edge of the base. Beautiful as standalone / statement piece, to use as a cup, bud vase to hold flowers, or as a ring bowl. Great for desk or vanity. Fully marked on the base. All authentication markings on bottom including, potter's marks, and 'Wedgwood', 'England' (separated).
