Description: Late 1800s wooden mortar and pestle in fair vintage Condition. The mortar has a lovely aged patina and shows wear … more Late 1800s wooden mortar and pestle in fair vintage Condition. The mortar has a lovely aged patina and shows wear consistent with how it was used; the only flaw to the mortar is a large paint drip. The pestle is old (1930s/40s) but appears to be newer than the mortar. The pestle has a large crack and we have provided pictures for your review. We love to uses these as display items and even use a few to grind up things we need in our garden. Please review the photographs to see the Condition Details up close.
