Finely shaped from black stone, likely slate, with exquisitely carved Ancient Egyptian iconography and pictographs highlighted with gilt
Circa 1850's-1870's, French. Second Empire, Napoleon III period

Measurements: Approx. 15.75" tall x 3.5" x 3.5" the square base
The pair weighs about 12 lbs. 8 oz.
