Antique French Louis XVI Carved Walnut Mirror represents the essence of the neoclassical revival style. The design features a stately architecture enhanced by a boldly molded and arched crown upon which has been carved floral sprays with ribbon in fine relief, accented by rectangular rosettes with a step-front center section. The mirror below is flanked by tailored pilasters serving as the side edges, each adorned with a simple floral and foliate spray both above and below, with extra molding immediately surrounding the original beveled mirror, sized of a generous proportion to provide a lovely reflection of your room and amplify the effects of ambient light. The richness of the exquisite French walnut creates a splendid visual presence which only adds to the overall effect.
